Description:
Cardinal Health Canada, with over 1300 employees nationwide, is an essential link in the Canadian healthcare supply chain, providing over 70,000 products to healthcare facilities and medical professionals across the country.
Cardinal Health Canada is currently seeking a 12-month contract for a Quality Assurance Assistant to join the Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance team. This role is a hybrid work-model with two days in our Mississauga/Vaughan Office.
This role is responsible for issuing product holds and dispositions, analysis or inspection of materials, components, products or processes for compliance with specifications and standards.

Your Contributions to the Organization will be to:
- Assist all product holds and dispositions from initial to closure.
- Update and maintain metric data regarding product holds
- Responsible for writing rework protocols.
- Provide support for recalls, as required.
- Provide support for product inspections, as required.
- Demonstrate knowledge of applicable procedures, regulations, and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and train others on SOPs and quality guidelines.
- Compile and input data, documents and process findings and interprets results.
- Complete applicable documents needed for the release of product to the field.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate detail-oriented attention in all facets of responsibilities.
- Support the following quality processes as required: Corrective Action / Preventive Action (CAPA), non-conformance, quality training, management review, document control, change management and records management.
