TITLE: QUALITY ASSURANCE AUDITOR

Reports to: Employment Services Director
Pay: $49,150.40 annual salary D.O.E, FT Exempt position w/competitive benefit package
Office Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am – 5 pm
Description
YMCA International Services is a unique center of the YMCA of Greater Houston that delivers client-centered programs to refugees, immigrants and other vulnerable populations to advance their economic independence, social integration and civic participation. The Y helps newcomers restore hope, build stability, create opportunity and change futures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain quality assurance program to ensure program files are up to date with funder requirements
  • Ensures funder required file documentation is complete and accurate for all department files
  • Works with staff to ensure requirements are adhered to; provides training where needed
  • Responsible for tracking, correcting and reporting of identified compliance questions, issues, audits and monitoring through the use of a developed program
  • Ensures all funder reported findings are corrected and responded to timely
  • Accountable for findings during funder audit/monitoring
  • Assist program director in monitoring the performance of the department when it comes to funder audit and monitoring
  • Prepare and submit monthly reporting for the department
  • Perform quality assurance calls to clients
  • Report suspicious and inappropriate behaviors and policy violations
  • Follow mandated abuse and incident reporting requirements
  • Meet timelines and deadlines related to supporting systems and employee compliance. Example includes but is not limited to Kronos Workforce Ready to review and submit own time sheet.
  • Other duties as assigned including rotating schedule for food pantry and airport pickup.

Outcomes

  • Adherence and maintenance of funder’s standards across 100% of Employment files.
  • Weekly data inspection of all files submitted for QA as new or closed.
  • Mid-service revision of cases after monthly job placements have been verified.
  • Internal and funder’s audits result in 100% compliance with no findings.
  • Ongoing one on one data entry and file management guidance provided to 12 case managers to minimize errors/discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or years of equivalent experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Prefer knowledge of/and previous experience with diverse populations.
  • Fluency in a relevant refugee language (Spanish, Arabic, Pashto, Dari, Swahili) preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent computer and database skills.
