Description:

Oji Fibre Solutions is one of New Zealand’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of packaging solutions to a wide range of industries throughout the country. Our Paper Bag business based in Penrose, Auckland designs and produces multi-wall bags for the Dairy, Cement, Flour and Sugar industries throughout the country and into offshore markets.

Reporting to the Business Systems Manager, your main focus in this role will include:

  • Ensuring all Compliance and Food Safety regulatory requirements are met.
  • Developing and maintaining internal Quality systems and documentation
  • Ensuring ISO9001 compliance and leading the HACCP programme by ensuring current documentation reflects current site practices.
  • Manage the customer complaint process and internal audits.
  • Complying with all relevant EHSR legislation and practices
  • Perform in-process testing, analysing data and make recommendations to operations.
  • Continuous improvement focus

To be successful you will need:

  • Experience in GMP within the Packaging, Food or Pharmaceutical sectors.
  • 2 + years of Quality Assurance experience with proven results
  • Sound knowledge of Quality and Food Safety Management Systems – FSSC 22000, HACCP and GMP and to have the ability to implement and maintain these systems.
  • Understanding of Food Safety regulatory compliance for US FDA, European EU, Chinese GB, Argentinian Mercosur, Colombian INVIMA would be advantageous.
  • Experience working within a Lean Manufacturing or Operational Excellence environment.
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications (BSc or similar) preferred.
  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, databases
