Vacancy: QA Co-Ordinator UK

We are now seeking a Quality Assurance Co-Ordinator to help us further building the future of food. You will be based in Milton Keynes and report to the UK Quality Assurance Manager and be part of a great team of people based in our locations across Europe – Finland, UK, Belgium, Sweden, Estonia, Spain.

In this role you will have the opportunity for the successful candidate develop their career with exposure to retailer standards, BRC and have more autonomy. The successful candidate will ensure training for individual procedures and practices relevant for Milton Keynes would be completed.

  • Note – this is a shift role working days, 7am to 7pm on a Panama Shift Pattern.

What you will do

  • Champion product quality throughout all aspects of the business.
  • Ensuring that customer quality expectations are met through internal teamwork.
  • Drive quality improvements through the scheduled Quality Reviews.
  • Promoting shared learning for the evolution of documented quality system, updating QS documents and maintaining the document control system.
  • Contribute as a team member to strategic initiatives for the quality team and for overall business performance.
  • Undertake all departmental project (eg sampling, product assessments, freezer trials and other work) as part continuous improvement programme
  • Visits and support to the warehouse of our logistics partner and tortilla kit line. Verification checks of tortilla kit coding paperwork.
  • Any other quality-related tasks, as required, to meet the needs of the business

What we expect from you

You would be a great fit if your background and experience would look similar to this

  • Food Science / Technology qualification or relevant experience
  • Food hygiene qualification (intermediate or advanced)
  • HACCP qualification (intermediate or advanced)
  • Auditing qualification (internal / second party / third party)
  • Training qualification / experience
