As the Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer at Baker Hughes, you will will be responsible for activities contributing to the design, development, and quality of products, solutions, and systems. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components. Comprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles related to features under development.

As a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Own medium-sized quality engineering tasks
  • Mentor and help team members
  • Work with sustaining and new product engineering teams in development and execution of testing plans
  • Reduce risk and promote sustainability by utilizing and driving standardization
  • Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI/CD, Software and Product Security, Scalability and Reliability, Documentation Practices, Refactoring and Testing Techniques
  • Drive quality into the development process, through analysis and feedback of testing results, working directly with the design and development team

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related engineering discipline from an accredited university or college.
  • A minimum 4 years of professional experience.
  • Extensive experience in test automation and test plan management
  • Basic understanding of electrical circuit components and operation.
  • Expertise and knowledge of test-driven development concepts.
