Quality Assurance Engineer (Piping)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture / Marine and Offshore / Engineering or related engineering disciplines
• API 570. CWSIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector
• At least 3 years of relevant Quality Assurance working experience, preferably in the offshore and marine industry
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environmentWell conversant with codes & standards like ASME, API, ANSI, AWS, IACS, ABS, NR etc

  Our Addresses and Working Hours:

• Reviews technical specifications, drawings, procedures, and standard pertaining to the project requirements
• Prepares and reviews the project quality documents, NDT plan and procedure, ITP
• Reviews drawings, documents & weekly updated drawing register from document controller and distributes to project QA personnel
• Administers the project internal quality audit to ensure compliance with the project quality plan
• Monitors the inspection and documentation activities of QA Inspector to ensure complain with inspection & test plan and project quality requirements
• Liaises with Owner and class pertaining to quality related issues and technical and technical calibrations and queries
• Handles and resolves quality related issues arising from sub-contractor and in-house production
• Checks and ensures extant of NDT is covered as per NDT plan
• Prepares and submits of Manufacturer Data Boot (MDB) to owner and classification society
• Ensures material preservation, handling, traceability
• Coordinates the testing/ commissioning requirements with Engineering, Project Manager, QA Department, and vendors
• Reports non-conformance and issue Improvement note, where necessary
• Performs any other assigned duties and responsibilities
