Job Description
Working within the Technology Domain, we are on a journey to consolidate and optimize our test practice and are looking for a motivated experienced individual to take the reins on this and deliver on processes, tooling, frameworks in testing for both our inhouse teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the testing strategy for the organization
  • Work with the development teams to collate and understand our current frameworks and practices
  • Document and present our current testing landscape and areas of improvement
  • Research industry best practices and tooling and make recommendations with reasoning
  • Leverage our existing best practices in DevOps and Integrations
  • Drive the execution of strategy for test environments, test management, tools to be used, frameworks and processes
  • Bring the testers on this journey
  • Educate and advocate the testing strategy to the development teams and vendors
  • Monitor and measure the usage and effectiveness of the strategy to feed into the testing roadmap
  • Build and leverage relationships with stakeholders for the long-term success of the testing strategy

Qualifications

To be successful in this we are looking for someone who has:

  • A Senior tester with 10+ years of experience including including test case management, defect tracking, triages and reporting
  • Proven experience as a tester working in different areas of the development lifecycle - planning, building, trials, releases
  • Has demonstrated the ability to take initiatives and lead from ideation to completion
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to articulate to varying audiences and bring differing views to consensus
  • Experience in multiple automation frameworks and tools
  • Curiosity and ability to analyze and summarize research
  • Deep familiarity with testing enterprise applications including erp, crm, edi, Data Warehousing
