Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Quality Assurance Manager you will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing all aspects of the Quality Management system for our Alternative Fuels division. You will ensure that the processes and products are consistent and comply with regulations, meeting the required external and internal standards.
You will manage all aspects of the PPAP process, including control plans, DFMEA’s and PFMEA’s.
You will undertake internal and external audits in line with the QMS requirements and be expected to provide sound technical knowledge to our stakeholders in the form of written reports, 8Ds, and presentations.
Based at our manufacturing site in Colwick, Nottingham, you’ll be employed on a permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week.

What will I need to be considered for this opportunity?

  • Hold a qualification in Lead Auditor Training IATF 16949 & ISO 9001 and have an in-depth understanding of the standards.
  • Have experience implementing and managing IATF 16949
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Strong knowledge and experience of the full PPAP process
  • Experience in APQP
  • Strong understanding of MS office programmes
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills in quality assurance metrics
