Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Quality Manager will be responsible for supporting the Cube Management System by ensuring that all products comply with Customer requirements and SQF standards by means of effective and up to date recordkeeping and ongoing follow up.

Responsibilities:

  • Address all customer complaints. Work with Production, Maintenance and Warehouse department to identify root cause and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure Quality personnel are trained on QA processes
  • Ensure Production associates and Production leads are trained on all quality protocols.
  • Work together with the Supervisors, Operators, and technicians to ensure correct processes are being adhered to
  • Discuss all areas of non- conformance to specification with the Supervisor, Operator, Inspector and

Quality Manager to implement corrective action and follow up as needed.

  • Update, maintain and enter defects in database and prepare reports as requested.
  • Review and develop SOPs and related forms in accordance with Quality System requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement process by providing training in problem-solving and improvement methodology (5S, Root cause Analysis, Process FMEA)
  • Use statistics to assess product performance data, solve complex manufacturing quality problems, and support validation strategies.
  • Directs or creates work instructions for the production team and quality technician with the help of the Director of Quality Engineering. Train or coordinate the training of departmental personnel to perform their job responsibilities proficiently.
  • Manage sample collections, coordinate measurement studies, analyze, summarize, and present data.
  • Perform engineering studies as part of the development process, analyze the results and write formal technical reports of highly complex information that will be shared with internal and external contacts.
  • Identify food safety and housekeeping issue, discuss with supervisors and execute a plan to fix them.
  • Participate in internal audit and create reports accordingly.
  • Participate in External Audit (SQF) as required.
  • Validate and monitor any engineering change to maintain Quality standard.
