As we continue to push the boundaries of composite technology, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Assurance Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our cutting-edge projects.
As a Quality Assurance Manager at iCOMAT, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the quality assurance and control processes within our composite manufacturing operations. Your role, working closely with Production, Engineering, and R&D teams, will involve developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems to ensure we meet both customer and certifying bodies quality requirements / standards. Support the drive towards continuous improvement in product quality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Oversee the Inspection and Testing processes to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and customer requirements, conducting internal audits and hosting / managing customer / governing body audits.
- Manage Supplier Audits and Approvals
- Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
- Manage and mentor the business regarding the Quality Assurance Principles and Process, providing training and support as required.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive quality documentation, including quality plans, inspection records, and audit reports.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related customer inquiries and issues, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
