Job Description
Your new role:
In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling and executing product assessments for our Own Brand product assessments via the Metro Product Assessment Centre (MPAC), external laboratories and Chefs / professional customers. Maintain and update all documentation related to product compliance and governance activities, ensuring all procedures are current and accessible.

Where your expertise is needed:

  • Coordinating with QA Experts and relevant stakeholders to schedule and execute product compliance activities (sensory, FFU, legal compliance and benchmarking checks).
  • Manage the scheduling, organization, execution, and reporting of product assessments of the products, based on the plan defined in collaboration with the Experts GQA Food & MSI QA.
  • Ensure clear communication and record-keeping of product testing outcomes.
  • Monitor the follow-up with QA Experts and QA Countries.
  • Communicate test scheduling and follow up on test outcomes with external partners like laboratories, consultancies, chefs, and professional customers.
  • Provide support to QA teams in various countries and internal stakeholders (GQA/Sourcing) on product assessment processes.
  • Generate monthly reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to compliance for common sourced Own Brand products.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality management within a wholesale or retail environment.
  • Experience in product analysis and sensory evaluation is a plus.
  • University degree in Food Chemistry, Food Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency working with data and statistics (MS office and advance Excel).
  • Team player with a customer-centric approach.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and self-motivated with a continuous learning mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
