ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Niagara Metal Finishers & Supply Inc. is looking for a full-time Quality Assurance Supervisor, Automotive, based in St. Catharines, ON.
Reporting to the General Manager or designate, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of quality throughout our manufacturing processes. You are tasked with ensuring compliance with industry regulations, optimizing production efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
In this position, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the quality assurance team and ensuring all manufacturing processes meet our stringent standards.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supervising employees to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Ensuring accurate reporting of production scrap and SPC
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of continuous improvement systems
  • Conducting regular audits and inspections
  • Utilizing statistical tools to analyze data and trends
  • Maintaining documentation of quality assurance activities
  • Collaborating with teams to address quality issues
  • Training and auditing plant personnel
