Vickerstock are working in partnership with our specialist food processing client in Ireland and UK who have doubled production in the last 5 years and continues to do so, due to this they are seeking a full time/permanent Quality Assurance Technician to join the team at their site in Monaghan.
Responsibilities:
- Effective development, implementation, and monitoring of the Food Safety Management system, including the HACCP plan, pre-requisite programme and documented SOPs within the business.
- Ensuring compliance with Legislation, BRC, and retailer/ customer standards.
- Conduct Internal audits across the site.
- Own and manage projects, ensuring completion within agreed time frames and involving key stakeholders.
- Apply Lean manufacturing principles daily in problem-solving, root cause analysis, and change management.
- Proactively identify and address hazards to prevent risks to product safety, initiate corrective and preventative actions, and oversee their effective implementation to address problems and drive continuous improvement.
- To analysis Production Quality KPI’s and proactively report trends and liaise with production teams in problem solving.
- Manage external non-conformance and complete complaint investigations, to ensure a rigorous approach to root cause analysis and that corrective and preventative actions are put in place in a timely manager.
- Collaborate with Production and Maintenance Management to set standards, solve problems, and implement corrective actions.
