What’s on offer?

An opportunity has presented for a Quality & Completions Engineer to join our NSW Infrastructure Services team based at Rydalmere. Working closely with our Asset, Maintenance and Project Delivery teams you will provide support to ensure all groups are aligned with quality and completion requirements. You will proactively monitor and review the progress of all quality and completion documentation required for maintenance, project and asset inspection close-out. Day to day you will also:

• Manage asset acceptance requirements when new and/or modified assets are handed over.
• Coordinate, attend and record defects and/or NCRs from site inspections.
• Ensure all quality and completion data is captured within the Quality and/or Asset Management systems;
• Manage close-out activities to ensure commitment dates are met.
• Manage quality and completion submissions to the client.
• Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with the contract teams, TfNSW and other key stakeholders for the effective quality and completion management of projects and services;
• Continually seek improvements to quality assurance, processes and procedures.

To be successful in this role you will have a keen eye for detail, you are proactive in your approach and can manage time effectively. Previous experience in a quality and/or completions role within a road asset management, construction, maintenance or similar industry is desirable. You will have an understanding of relevant TfNSW standards, legislation and regulatory guidelines as well as a solid understanding of end to end project delivery lifecycle. Your strong communication skills, as well as the ability to both prioritise and problem solve, while managing stakeholder interests will set you up for success in this role.
