We are looking for Quality Control Inspectors to join our Team in Aurora, Ontario.

These positions are are very specific three month contracts, with very defined tasks. They are day shift, 7 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. The successful candidate(s) will have experience in a manufacturing environment and the following:

  • Minimum of grade 12 or completion of a recognized quality assurance course.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently on certain tasks
  • Above average computer skills. Specifically familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Outlook email usage.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with all Operations teams to establish an electronic recipe management database to capture all machine process conditions.
  • There is an existing database that can be expanded on and introduced across all Operations departments.
  • This Support person will work with each Operator and team lead to ensure accuracy of data and monitor production runs and perform regular audits for compliance to the documented process conditions.
  • There will be situations where this Support person will be working in conjunction with our Technical team during trials to capture new process conditions as they are being developed.
  • General housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Carry out any other specialized functions as required by the QC Department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with all Operations teams to ensure the set up of each job order meets required machine and material specifications, before approval is given to start each production run.
  • Before a job can begin the Pre-start Approvals/Inspector must be called to the machine to go through all the checklist items and process conditions.
  • If all criteria has been met and we are confident in the success of the run, an approval signature can be documented.
  • If there are deficiencies they will inform the Operations Teams that corrections are needed.
  • Once corrections are made, another review is required with the end goal of approving the job to start
  • This Pre-start Approvals/Inspector will work closely with the QC Department Members to be sure any specialized testing is carried out, when required, before the job can start.
  • If there is a need to document revisions they will be presented to the QC Department for processing.
  • General housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Carry out any other specialized functions as required by the QC Department.
