Description:
Bilton Welding and Manufacturing Ltd., in Innisfail, Alberta is looking for Quality Control Administrator driven to maintain and improve quality standards in a collaborative work environment. QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant experience is an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in a quality control administrative role.
- Experience in quality management and manufacturing environments is advantageous.
- Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
- Ability to learn and adapt to internal programs for data documentation and reporting.
- Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate positively across all teams.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving aptitude and good judgment, quality customer service and relationship-building capabilities.
- Capacity to work independently and autonomously while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in handling documentation and interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the quality control department.
- Assist in maintaining records for internal quality audits and compliance.
- Distribute quality policies, procedures, and related materials to relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough scanning and data entry of documentation into electronic databases.
- Proofread documents meticulously to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Coordinate and support internal audits of the Quality System.
- Verify and compile Material Test Reports (MTRs) and maintain accurate records.
- Utilize engineering drawings (DWGs) and complete detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) references.
- Fulfill additional tasks assigned by the Manager to support departmental objectives.
