Description:

Bilton Welding and Manufacturing Ltd., in Innisfail, Alberta is looking for Quality Control Administrator driven to maintain and improve quality standards in a collaborative work environment. QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant experience is an asset.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in a quality control administrative role.
  • Experience in quality management and manufacturing environments is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to learn and adapt to internal programs for data documentation and reporting.
  • Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate positively across all teams.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and good judgment, quality customer service and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Capacity to work independently and autonomously while managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in handling documentation and interactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the quality control department.
  • Assist in maintaining records for internal quality audits and compliance.
  • Distribute quality policies, procedures, and related materials to relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough scanning and data entry of documentation into electronic databases.
  • Proofread documents meticulously to ensure accuracy and clarity.
  • Coordinate and support internal audits of the Quality System.
  • Verify and compile Material Test Reports (MTRs) and maintain accurate records.
  • Utilize engineering drawings (DWGs) and complete detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) references.
  • Fulfill additional tasks assigned by the Manager to support departmental objectives.
