BIOVECTRA Inc. has openings for a Quality Control Chemist. This is a full-time permanent position located in Windsor, NS.

Performing analyses using instrumental techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-VIS and NMR.
Performing analyses using bench chemical techniques such as TLC, titrimetry and gravimetry.
Maintaining accurate, real-time records of all laboratory activities.
Performing required calculations, by hand or with use of spreadsheets or validated computer systems.
Performing routine maintenance and/or calibration of analytical instruments and documenting these activities.
Completing paperwork for the release of materials, including status labels and certificates of analysis.
Ensuring appropriate tracking and logging of samples.
Identifying test results which are out of specification and alerting a manager or supervisor when this occurs.
Additional duties assigned, based on business needs and the department supervisor’s request.
