CORE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience of using laboratory equipment, glassware, basic instruments
  • Basic Knowledge of chemical substances, acids, alkalis, solvents

Responsibilities:

  • Work observing all internal safety guidelines, apply the correct personal protective equipment at all
  • times and report safety related violations / unsafe acts and situations.
  • Maintain the workplace in a clean, hygienic, organized (5S) and safe work manner.
  • Work in accordance with all relevant quality related requirements, not limited to GLP, GMP, AIB, OSHA, HACCP
  • Perform and record basic routine equipment maintenance and daily calibration control checks
  • Support miscellaneous laboratory functions, such as preparing solutions, maintaining lab sup-plies, filing paper
  • Record and documentation, preparing samples for dispatch and store and retrieve retained samples and reference samples.
  • Provide support in administrative and QC tests such as weighing balance, densitom-eter, refractometer, m moisture balances, Karl Fischer titrator, sieve testing equipment, GC, colour.
  • Identify opportunity for improvements in QC, Melting point, Automatic titrator.
