Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Quality Control Officer, to execute critical QC processes across L3Harris IMSA’s full product suite, in support of various national Defence programs. Working in close collaboration with Quality Assurance stakeholders, the QC Officer will track, analyse and report on materials, processes and products to ensure the highest quality standards are upheld for both our customers and internal departments
As a Quality Control Officer, your principal focus will be inwards goods & production quality control & inspection, as well as supplier monitoring and auditing. You will also support the Warehouse & Facilities Officer with receipting of some deliveries, Inventory Control, and Despatch activities, thereby ensuring that QC considerations are embedded at all levels of the supply chain.

To be successful in this role and to best leverage the opportunities provided by L3Harris, some skills & experience ideal applicants will bring include;

  • Previous QC Inspector experience
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools - Vernier calipers, micrometers, DTI’s etc
  • Working knowledge of freight bookings and tracking systems
  • Time management skills, with a practiced ability to prioritise according to business need
  • Acute safety awareness in fast paced environments
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 - Quality Management System requirement
