Description:
The purpose of this position is to work on routine assigned tasks which are tactical and administrative in nature by assisting and supporting the Quality specialists and engineers.
- Maintain QC and Supplier Quality Surveillance (SQS) logs and input to databases
- Perform support of basic SQS activities
- Stay current/updated with technical and functional developments in area of specialty through continuing education, conferences, and periodicals, for example, and continue to develop in-depth specialization, if desired
- Participate in Fluor University for training and career development
- Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
- Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed
- Other duties as assigned
BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A combination of education and directly related experience equal to one (1) year; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a USA citizen
- Participate in QC department meetings, training, and functions
- Serve as a Company representative to external clients
- Participate in Fluor University® for training and career development
- Contribute to and promote the use of Fluor’s knowledge management portals and communities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering/technical/quality assurance field of study preferred
- intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the basic use of spreadsheets and electronic presentations
- Oral and written communication and computer skills
- Intermediate interpersonal skills
