Description:

The purpose of this position is to work on routine assigned tasks which are tactical and administrative in nature by assisting and supporting the Quality specialists and engineers.

  • Maintain QC and Supplier Quality Surveillance (SQS) logs and input to databases
  • Perform support of basic SQS activities
  • Stay current/updated with technical and functional developments in area of specialty through continuing education, conferences, and periodicals, for example, and continue to develop in-depth specialization, if desired
  • Participate in Fluor University for training and career development
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
  • Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed
  • Other duties as assigned

BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A combination of education and directly related experience equal to one (1) year; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a USA citizen
  • Participate in QC department meetings, training, and functions
  • Serve as a Company representative to external clients
  • Participate in Fluor University® for training and career development
  • Contribute to and promote the use of Fluor’s knowledge management portals and communities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering/technical/quality assurance field of study preferred
  • intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the basic use of spreadsheets and electronic presentations
  • Oral and written communication and computer skills
  • Intermediate interpersonal skills
