Description:

DESCRIPTION

Assist the QA Manager in ensuring that all products are packed to the correct specification and to an acceptable quality. Working in conjunction with packing and warehouse teams to ensure all quality-related issues are resolved and rectified to a standard acceptable by Elemis and the client.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE

  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good standard on Microsoft packages, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as be self-motivated and eager to learn
  • Previous experience in a Quality Control position in Cosmetics

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the QA Manager on implementation of the quality systems
  • Report on quality issues, product analysis, stock rotation / allocations.
  • Carry out the quality control checks on finished goods received from suppliers prior to the packing process.
  • Carry out QC procedure on the packing process
  • Provide QA Manager with a daily quality report
  • Ensure the Quality of the delivery complies with the vendors manuals specification and requirements
  • Liaising with the Quality control team, packing team, warehouse team, and Logistics to ensure requirements are met prior to packing and dispatch.
  • Issue and update Quality Control Procedures and Quality control documents/ records
  • Maintaining document Control Register
  • Liaise with the QA Manager on the customer complaints / incidents.
  • Collating information and log customer complaints by following customer complaint procedure to rectify non-conformances.
  • To ensure that corrective action is put in place to prevent reoccurrence of unacceptable quality.
  • Update Vendor Manual and communicate changes and specification with the packing team
  • Deal with all tasks quickly and efficiently ensuring high levels of productivity and accuracy at all times
  • Carry out traceability exercises and maintain records
  • Update packing specifications as and when required
  • Liaising with the QA Manager for organising the internal audit
  • Good communication with all departments.
  • Provide cover as and when required
  • Provide induction training to QC team
  • Ensure that our Customer’s requirements are met and exceeded within deadlines through coordinating and prioritising activity across shifts
  • In the absence of your manager take on additional responsibilities as reasonably requested
  • To carry out other duties as reasonably requested by Management from time to time
  • Ensure health and Safety compliance at all times, identifying any issue directly or escalating to the management team where required
