Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE WITHIN THE TEAM

As part of the growing Quality Team, the Quality Control Technician is responsible for the day-to-day testing. This will include environmental testing and all material receivals and finished goods. The role is part of a growing team and will work closely with operations, and other quality functions such as Quality Assurance to assist in quality and testing related tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Environmental testing and Monitoring
  • Material Receival - Testing
  • Managing raw material releasing
  • Finish product release - focus on testing and laboratory results part
  • Sensory and powder quality testing
  • Retention sample management
  • Assisting with validation, verification and trials
  • Internal laboratory instrument calibration
  • Physical-chemical testing for finish products
  • Reports documentation
  • Re-stock the laboratory/ QC materials regularly
  • Responsible to adhere all Australian regulations and NSW food standards/safety schemes and export standards for milk products, as well as importing country’s requirement.

To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:

  • Degree or diploma in food science or other relevant science field
  • Practical experience in sampling and testing is preferable
  • Previous experience on Quality Control is desirable
  • GMP experience and knowledge
