WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Toyota’s Battery Manufacturing North Carolina Quality Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Quality Data Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to help foster a data-driven culture in the Quality department and across the organization by working with manufacturing experts to understand opportunities to use analytics for better decision-making. This role will deliver analytical solutions to stakeholders within the manufacturing environment and partner with other data science groups across the region to develop complex algorithms and tools focused on delivering an elevated customer experience.
Reporting to the Quality Control Manager the person in this role will support the quality control department’s objective to support the manufacturing team in producing the highest quality product to exceed our customer’s expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with data analytics and data science groups across Toyota North America to deliver impactful data-driven solutions to the battery plant.
  • Consult with stakeholders across the manufacturing plant to understand their business practices and find opportunities to employ data science and analytics solutions.
  • Work with team members to collect, clean, and process large volumes of data to use for visualization and model development.
  • Visualize data using BI tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.
  • Communicate insights and results to a wide range of customers and stakeholders with varying knowledge levels of analytics, data, and business processes.
  • Collaborate closely with other groups to promote a strong kaizen culture to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
