It is the responsibility of the Quality Data Technician to provide support for the Triad Process; while providing support to the Branch One Mission and Vision. Responsible for maintaining the Branch Network and Personal Computers. Must work closely with Branch One Management personnel and employees.

So, what will you be doing as a Quality Data Technician?

  • Identify and stop further processing of non-conformances related to products, processes, or the quality systems.
  • Take action to prevent non-conformities related to the product produced, services provided or the ISO 9001:2015 management system.
  • Make suggestions for improvement and verify the implementation of solutions.
  • Know the location of and understand their control plans, work instructions and specifications.
  • Reports to Quality Manager and work onsite
  • Follow instructions and work under QA Tech as designated by QS Manager.
  • Conduct Crate & Roll Inventory Inspections as required.
  • Notify Quality System Manager and /or Quality Assurance Technician of any perceived non-conformances discovered during assigned Crate/Roll Opening Inspections.
  • Perform data gathering efforts, Data Process Evaluations and Spot Checks.
  • Assist in the performance of Returned Product Inspections.
  • Perform Process Performance Inspections (i.e. Grid Weld Inspections, etc.) as needed.
  • Perform Internal Audits as assigned.
  • Perform Test Equipment Calibrations as needed.
  • Wear appropriate clothing, earplugs and safety glasses and follow safety regulations.
  • Perform FAA, Beta Run.
  • Perform BOM audits weekly.
  • Perform PPAP.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Good Computer Skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel.)
  • Physical ability to perform essential physical functions of the job. (Flip large units, etc.)
  • Ability to work at a high pace when needed to complete all daily requirements and assigned roll openings.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions.
  • Possess the ability to work effectively with others.
  • Possess good communication skills.
  • Ability to use measuring tools and devices accurately.
  • Ability to understand graphical data representations is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Exercise safe work practices at all times.
  • Must have good attendance and work habits.
  • Maintain the assigned areas in a clean condition, following 6’s procedures.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Process.
  • Be able to perform any other task related to the operation of the department as directed by the Quality System Manager and/or assigned QA Tech.
  • Assist in training other employees as needed.

In addition, the Quality Data Technician performs any other tasks related to the operation of this Branch as directed by the Branch Manager. This position may require occasional overtime and travel.
