JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Engineer (QE) is responsible for maintaining the highest level of quality within the organization. The QE will facilitate organizational compliance with all quality policies and procedures, as well as ensure materials and products comply with applicable regulations, specifications, and customer requirements.

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Regular scheduled attendance
  • Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling < 5%

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Associate’s degree in a technical field; or 2 years related experience and/or training in manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • BS in management, technical, or related field, or demonstrated relevant and equivalent industry experience preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years related experience in a quality systems or continuous improvement related capacity
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of FAA conformity/airworthiness regulations and procedures a plus
  • Quality/supplier auditing experience a plus
  • Previous management experience a plus

SKILLS

  • Must have excellent organization skills and be able to work multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of collaboration at all levels
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand business situations, strategies, theory, processes, management, budgeting, and operations
  • Demonstrates high critical thinking and reasoning skills and strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment that requires ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, Access, and Share Point
  • Previous experience with database/software configuration
