We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer in the heavy civil and structures space to join our team.
You will provide technical skills towards the overall delivery of all quality objectives, driving continued excellence level in all key result areas on this project.
With strong technical skills and knowledge in project-based quality management, you will bring to the table excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities that will you see you promoting a quality culture across the project. Your ability to influence people to adopt a strong focus on quality will have a direct impact on the systematic reduction of defects and rework while ensuring that all business systems and processes are implemented and maintained. This role will see you strongly influencing internal and subcontracted parties, interaction with the client or their representative, as well as the other stake-holders, including the designers.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week. We are looking for someone based in the Bay of Plenty; however you will be required to travel to other locations regularly.

We’re looking for someone with:
You are tertiary qualified in either Quality, HSQE, Civil Engineering or similar, with a proven record in managing quality aspects on large infrastructure projects. You are strong on computer-based systems and programmes for QA and QC purposes and all reporting needs.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on approach and a balance between strategic and operational responsibilities. Experience with M Files would be a bonus, but it is not a requirement for this role.
