We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Quality Engineer for our Water Infrastructure Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. In this role you’ll be responsible for:

  • Ensure effective implementation of the Project Quality Plan
  • Monitor, inspect and audit quality systems to ensure compliance with IMS and specifications including subcontractors and suppliers
  • Knowledge, understanding and interpretation of relevant specifications according to the project
  • Participation in the development and review of project documentation
  • Effectively implement quality system processes such as records management, document control and control of data
  • Develop Inspection and test plans (ITP’s) and verification checklists to ensure compliant product is delivered
  • Accurately compile lot records, review for conformance and achieve lot close out with client representative.

How you’ll connect to the role:

  • A relevant Degree in law, commerce, quantity surveying, construction management, engineering or a related discipline
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial models and activities in construction programs, as well as design and construct contracts
  • Sound knowledge and practical experience in the application of commercial and contract law
  • Ability to apply various techniques to seek constructive outcomes to contract negotiations, including ability to influence others and defend commercial positions
  • Experience with the JD Edwards financial application will be highly regarded
  • Able to evaluate tender documents and estimates
