DESCRIPTION

Global Precision Products is looking to add a Quality Engineer to our growing team! GPP is a leader in the Aerospace, Defense, and Medical field here in Rush, NY.
The Quality Engineer will work collaboratively with Quality Assurance and Engineering personnel to support quality engineering requirements for customers, suppliers and internal QMS systems. The Quality Engineer is responsible for providing statistical information for quality improvement by identifying testing methods and samples, ensuring customer requirements are satisfied.

SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

• Associate degree, technical/trade school training or equivalent with minimum of 5 years related experience. (Additional experience may be substituted for formal education.)
• Knowledge of computer operations and applications required.
• Must be able to read and comprehend engineering drawings, sketches and verbal and written communications to accomplish the job at hand.
• Required to utilize independent judgment related to inspection function and activities.
• Must be able to work independently or with a team providing solutions to a range of complex problems.
• Possesses good interpersonal skills, and verbal and written communication skills to interface with various levels of employees while performing quality assurance functions.
