Responsibilities:
- Support an AS9100 Certified Quality Management System.
- Apply fundamental Quality Engineering skills and concepts across a program lifecycle.
- Assist with development and review of procedures, processes, and work instructions.
- Participate in external audits of the Quality Management System in accordance with AS9100.
- Support assigned programs in accordance with detailed Quality Plans.
- Support incoming, in-process, and final inspection of electromechanical assemblies, textiles, and composites.
- Interface with Quality Inspectors and Quality Engineers in Lorton, VA and other QinetiQ Inc. sites.
- Verify product conformance to program specifications, designs, and acceptance tests.
- Work with Internal and External customers to resolve any quality issues through application of Root Cause Analysis and Problem-Solving tools such as 5 Why, 8D, Cause and Effect / Ishikawa diagrams etc., and implementing effective countermeasures to prevent the issue from re-occurring.
- Participate in Material Review Board and generate corresponding reports.
- Liaison with DCMA Source Inspectors and Government customers.
- Execute First Article Inspections in accordance with AS9102.
- Execute AS9100 Internal Audits as assigned.
- Assist with management of calibrated equipment.Perform all other related duties as assigned
