QUALIFICATIONS
- BS Engineering strongly preferred
- 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience working in a relevant field
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with ERP or MRP systems

The pay range for this role is:
75,000 - 85,000 USD per year (Carrollton, TX)

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer who will perform assigned responsibilities in planning and implementing quality assurance programs on products.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Developing inspection plans, measurement methods, and recording forms
- Support well established Quality Assurance systems, methods and procedures
- PPAP Key Quality Element development, i.e., Process Flows, FMEAs, Control Plans, Capability Assessments, Production Monitoring
- Statistical methods to control and evaluate process capabilities, where applicable. SPC experience strongly preferred.
- Development of quality assurance data packages for Engineering review
- Coordinates quality activities with customers, suppliers, and third-party oversight bodies as necessary
- Reviews contractual requirements in specifications and drawings with specific attention to quality requirements and leads the development of compliance matrices for customer acceptance
- Provides leadership in acquiring and implementing improved QA techniques and processes and makes key processes visible.
- Serves as the key owner and monitor for processes within the scope of an area of specific responsibility.
- Improves and creates standardized quality processes.
- Ensures 100% quality and regulatory compliance in accordance with documented procedures for all aspects of functional responsibility.
- Provides subject matter expertise while interacting with internal and external customers as well as suppliers by meeting regularly, responding to requests, and resolving issues as they may arise.
- Assists other departments as necessary in establishing standards relative to ensuring product quality.
- Reviews, revises or writes inspection procedures.
- Performs internal process surveillances and internal audits.
- Conducts analysis and closure on customer returns associated with assigned programs
- Participates in the preparation and maintenance of quality program manuals and related department and divisional procedures.
- Generates, reviews and processes Quality Non-Conformities, conducts containment, obtains disposition, evaluates root causes, and implements corrective action as required.
- Prepares program quality inspection plans
- Identifies potential project quality issues

- Implement & maintain a robust Quality Process that ensures successful, on time, new product launches that are compliant with REV Business Standards and Customer requirements.
- Collaborates with other department leaders to ensure cross functional team approach to all stages of launch.
- Ensures compliance throughout all quality testing and validation phases.
- Customer & Supplier Management.
- Experience working with international manufacturers, including Asia-based suppliers.
- Work closely with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the final product meets organization’s quality standards.
