On-site: This position requires an employee to be on-site on a full-time basis.

YOUR SKILLS & ABILITIES (REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1-3 years quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in automotive industry would be considered an asset
- Solid understanding of PPAP ( Production Part Approval Process) , PFMEA (Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) , GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance) & Control Plans
- High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and complex
- Knowledge of engineering software and systems as it pertains to job-related area
Responsibilities:
- Perform early issue identification, tracking and resolution to ensure segment leadership
- Provide clear and timely communication to Quality management relative to quality issues
- Lead launch and current product problem solving activities
- Deploy quality work according to planned development timing
- Work with the product team to identify and capture critical status updates for Quality reviews
- Facilitate Quality Review meetings and integrity of presentation materials
- Support GPS Program Execution Team (PET) with quality analysis information
- Help Facilitate Program for Pre-PIT ( pre-Production Improvement Team) / CPIT ( Continuous Product Improvement Team) meetings
- Provide detailed analysis on every issue to champions for resolution and actively approach issues including warranty claims / CTF ( Captured Test Fleet)
- Analyze, project and track warranty and customer survey information
- Support the development of the global quality planning process and templates
- Lead all aspects of engine / transmission exchange programs and teardowns
- Support Quality Deep Dives / Sector Reviews / Quality Councils
- Complete retrofit requests and support special quality studies
- Build and nurture relationships across multiple functions and regions
