Description:

Quality Engineering Specialist
We’re looking for like-minded individuals to join our team.
This is a Full-time, Salaried position.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:

  • Participating in the development and implementation of quality management systems
  • Investigating and resolving supplier audits, selections, quality issues, including non-conforming materials and corrective actions.
  • Providing root cause analysis and implementing preventive actions to eliminate recurring quality issues.
  • Collaborating with project management, design, and production teams to address QMS issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Assisting in the documentation and maintenance of QMS procedures.
  • Analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Supporting internal and external audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Providing training programs for QMS.
  • Participating in cross-functional teams to support new product introductions.
  • Communication between internal departments and suppliers to address quality concerns.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Able to lift up to 15lbs; may work in hot areas 5%, noise 0%.
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in quality engineering or mechanical engineering field
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and tools preferred (ISO-9001, Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
