IMT employees must meet Canadian Controlled Goods Program security requirements; therefore, it is required for you to undergo a Criminal Records Check.

The following skills and experience will be strong attributes:

  • Understanding of ISO-9001 and IATF 16949 standards
  • Proficiency in PPAP requirements
  • Developed knowledge and interpretation of SPC
  • Capability to develop and maintain Quality/Control Plans and PFMEAs
  • Skill in reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T
  • Experience in problem-solving techniques (8D, 5WHY), Quality Systems, APQP, Statistical Methods, Control Plans, and PPAPs
  • Familiarity with inspection equipment and general calibration procedures
  • Ability to interpret and adhere to customer specifications
  • Knowledge in gauge selection and functionality
  • Expertise in conducting internal product, process, and systems audits
  • Strong computer literacy including use Outlook, Word, and Excel

Responsibilities:

  • Providing job training and coaching related to quality requirements
  • Developing and maintaining process documentation in collaboration with manufacturing engineering
  • Initiating actions to prevent product, process, or quality system non-conformance
  • Verifying the effectiveness of Corrective Actions implemented
  • Reviewing customer, internal, and supplier rejections, and following up on corrective and preventive actions
  • Coordinating and participating in Gauge Accuracy, Repeatability, and Reproducibility Studies
  • Performing process capability and process performance (Cpk) studies and data collection, and reporting results on appropriate statistical charts
  • Monitoring process, product, and quality system performance, and initiating corrective actions when require
