Description:

JOB SUMMARY

As part of the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme (BCSP) Team, the post holder will provide day-to-day support of quality, risk, safety to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe and effective care focused on improving outcomes and experiences for patients, families and Carers. Act as a member of the Department Management Team and be accountable for quality governance deliverables within the Department with a key responsibility for the management of complaints and Health and Safety in the Department.

Responsibilities:

As part of the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme (BCSP) Team be accountable for quality governance deliverables within the
Promote a better understanding of governance mechanisms and systems within departments across the Department with a focus on risk, root cause and Health and
Support the Quality Manager with quality management tasks including audits, documents and risk management.
To facilitate a culture of learning and improvement from quality processes across the department.
As part of the BCSP Team implement systems and processes to promote, monitor and maintain a healthy, safe and secure patient and working environment through compliance with legal and regulatory
Provide support and assistance to the management team to ensure that quality and patient experience is at the heart of the service we deliver.
