We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our growing Quality team. Our Quality Inspector ensures that a company’s product meets all quality standards including testing the product, ensuring customer specifications are met and certifying the product meets industry standards.
THE SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED AS OUR QUALITY INSPECTOR:
- Experience in quality tools such as APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC and control plans
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Must have a demonstrated ability to analyse information (including numerical) and understand and interpret trends.
- IT skills (proficiency in Microsoft essential ) SAP an advantage.
- A self-motivated team player with a strong leadership style who takes the initiative to solve problems creatively and lead by example and hands on when required.
- Able to work under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise all quality activities.
- Analyse defects found in production NCR, support the preparation of 8D reports and assure the implementation and verification of necessary containments.
- Carry out Goods In inspection and report any non-conformities to SQE
- Manage quarantine area for non-conforming parts.
- Carry out EOL (GP12) inspections before shipment to final customer.
- Assists with concession & disposition inspection measurements data.
- Prepare all documentation for traceability records.
- Material booking in/release.
- Use all inspection, general measuring equipment, verniers, micrometers etc. CMM is approved.
- Assist and support the completion of MSA studies required for PPAP
- Comply fully with internal and external Quality Audits
- Work within all company guidelines and procedures
- Other duties may also be required.
