Job Title: Quality Lead
Introduction to Role:
Join us at AstraZeneca as a Quality Lead, where you will be tasked with leading and overseeing routine quality management and improvement. You will also be responsible for developing a longer-term operating model for quality management within Oral Product Development and New Modalities and Parenteral Development organisations at our Macclesfield site.
Accountabilities:
As a Quality Lead, you will represent NMPD/OPD UK on quality committees and co-lead the OPD/NMPD global quality team. You will manage quality management review activities and associated quality improvement plans, oversee internal and external audits, and provide expert consultation on routine GxP related issues. You will also oversee quality change management, contribute to the preparation and updating of global and Standard Operating Procedures, and own Quality metrics for Tier and NMPD/OPD Scorecard.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Degree level education
• Experience of senior stakeholder management
• Well-informed understanding of drug development and associated GLS/GMP activities
• Experience across a broad range of Development Quality Assurance activities
• Expert Knowledge of Development Quality Assurance procedures and guidelines

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Previous experience in drug development and development quality assurance
