Description:
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Based on an iconic large-scale construction project within the health sector in VIC, we have an opportunity for a QA Lead to proactively drive quality assurance ensuring there is uniformity, consistency, and outputs that meet the needs of the project.
- Proactively lead quality on the project and ensure QA deliverables are being met.
- Ensure quality framework is set up and operational for each workfront or specific activity.
- Actively support project staff to make sure that subcontractor/supplier quality framework (ITPs/ITRs/Handover documentation) is suitable prior to commencement. Ensure documentation and verifications are accurate and are completed correctly.
- Conduct Audits to ensure QA requirements are being met.
- Maintenance and development of quality systems on the ConQA platform and Connect (audit schedules, project risk register, consultant inspection register, quality risk workshops etc).
- Adherence to Quality Management Plan, quality reporting, and development of procedures and supporting documentation, as well as assisting in the ongoing implementation of Multiplex quality management plans, procedures and related systems throughout project and trade discipline establishment, construction, and completion activities.
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar QA role within the commercial construction sector within the Tier 1 space, including:
- Working knowledge of building and construction processes and understanding of risk management techniques.
- Experience in the implementation of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Practical knowledge of the National Construction Code and Australian Standards.
- Trade background (advantageous)
- Ability to interpret drawing, specifications, and standards.
- Practical knowledge of WHS legislation.
- Auditor competency. Accredited Auditor Qualification (advantageous)
