Description:

An opportunity has arisen within the Midlands and North West Bowel Cancer Screening Programme Hub as a Quality Lead. The post holder will lead on Quality Assurance to meet National Screening Programme Standards and ISO15189:2022 standards.
To lead on Quality Assurance and the training of staff at the Midlands & North West Bowel Cancer Screening Hub. Responsible for ensuring that national screening programme standards are met.
Leading on maintaining ISO 15189:2022 accreditation.
Plan and prepare the Hub for QA visits and assessment and direct activity to meet QA recommendations. Communicate effectively at local, regional, and national levels.
Produce comprehensive reports regarding QA with explicit conclusions and recommendations to the Hub. To summarise and explain the reports to all Hub staff and motivate and direct the team regarding QA.
Develop and monitor a training plan for Hub staff. To audit the effectiveness of this plan and modify it as required to continually meet the changing needs of the service.
To offer supervision to Senior Administrators (Quality).

Ensure optimal use of the Quality Management System.
Act as the primary point of enquiry for matters relating to Quality Assurance and the liaison point with SQAS.
Develop a process for monitoring trends in non-conformities. Analyse the data collected and interpret the results to form conclusions and recommendations to reduce their incidence in the future.
Identify appropriate audits, schedule their completion, and monitor compliance. Evaluate audit outcomes and propose appropriate actions in response to these findings.
Support Team Leaders in their supervision of Screening Administrators by providing a training plans and Quality Data for staff supervisions.
