JOB SUMMARY

We are looking to hire a suitable candidate to fill this position. The ideal candidate directs and coordinates the activities and all contracts of the engineering department, to ensure they are delivered to scope, budget, time and program by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Develop and sustain the Quality Management System in line with the required industry standards (including: ISO14001 / ISO 9001 / OHAS 18001), accreditation requirements and business requirements across the organization through existing and new procedures.

• Experience Level: Mid level
• Experience Length: 4 years

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Science with a minimum of 2.2 from a reputable institution (a higher degree could be an advantage)
• Minimum of 4-year experience in QMR position in a reputable organization
• Minimum of ISO 9001: 2015 Internal Auditor certification (a Lead Auditor certification could be an advantage)
• Detailed understanding of ISO14001 / ISO 9001 / OHAS 18001

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supporting other process owners in monitoring and administering quality management systems responsibility of their processes
• Producing accurate quality management reports in a timely manner
• Producing working QMS calendars, distributing and monitoring it to ensure compliance
• Maintenance and controlling the quality management system of the organization to ensure continuation of compliance and certification status
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
• Liaising with the external auditors, site engineers and other process owners and providing assistance when requested
• Implementing the Corrective Action Request and Non-conforming Products Request procedures and following up on resolution of nonconformities, including maintaining the logs and reporting to Management
• Assisting Management in planning, coordinating, executing and reporting on the Management Review Meetings
• Producing, reviewing and revising QMS procedures and related QMS documents and ensuring their continued suitability
• Ensuring that all QMS documents, deliverables and reports are accurate and submitted in a timely manner
• Production of audit plans and programs and execution of internal audits as required
• Management and coordination of external audits when required
• Embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the company
• Introduce new systems and procedures where appropriate
• Training of staff on QMS requirements.
