JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Extensive experience in quality management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of continuous & process improvement in a commercial environment.
  • Quality Assurance auditor training to ISO9001 Lead Auditor.
  • Understanding & application of Six Sigma methodology.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

You will drive customer satisfaction by ensuring that products delivered to clients meet agreed quality standards as well as making sure quality management systems are embedded within site operations and quality certifications are maintained at our Felling plant.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively plan & control our QC resource to ensure internal and external customer needs are met.
  • Manage the Site Quality Management System & the certification to ISO9001, amongst other specific business standards and external certifications.
  • Ensure all site documents are kept up to date & maintained.
  • Manage the processes related to the final batch testing of all relevant products.
  • Ensure right first time & batch cycle time reduction.
  • Collaborate with RD&I to ensure New Product Introduction procedures to production are in place & followed.
  • Prepare & guide internal & customer audits.
  • Ensure the calibration of equipment within the manufacturing facilities & laboratories is actioned.
  • Drive root cause investigations & problem solving to ensure preventative/corrective actions are implemented.
