DESCRIPTION:

eporting to the Chief Operating Officer, we are currently seeking an experienced Quality Manager. This role is a key part of the site’s operational team, providing tactical support, leading quality root cause analysis, and implement solutions to ensure that the quality management processes and systems are proactively managed and coordinated so the business improves its quality performance.

Responsible for providing planned and daily leadership to the Quality function on site, driving safety, quality, culture and capability the quality aspects of the site.

  • Lead, mentor and provide ongoing development to the QA team.
  • Maintaining current TGA/APVMA/ACO licences and accreditations.
  • Ensuring processes and products adhere to TGA, APVMA and ACO guidelines.
  • Delivering quality improvement strategies.
  • Managing the organisations quality management system.
  • Driving projects for continuous improvement and streamlining current processes.
  • Managing product release activities and customer enquiries with relation to quality.
  • Conducting annual quality reviews of the organisation.
  • Lead the internal audit program and strategically facilitate in-house training.
  • Regularly report on the performance of quality metrics, corrective, and preventative actions.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

  • Experience within the cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience working within a contract manufacturing environment.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

  • 8+ years’ experience in a quality management role.
  • Exceptional working knowledge of cGMP, cGLP, and cosmetic product manufacturing principles.
  • Experience in leading process validation to meet TGA and APVMA guidelines.
  • Previous experience in leading TGA/APVMA audits.
  • Outstanding communication and people influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
