About this position: Quality Program Administrator
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Quality and Risk Management, manages all Incident Reporting activities and processes within the PPGNHAIK Quality Risk Management Program to ensure the safe delivery of care and compliance with all regulatory standards.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to functions independently

Proficient computer skills and software skills; knowledge of Microsoft software and EMR.

  • SharePoint, Survey Gizmo, Power Point
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Assures compliance with internal and external regulations of the agency by maintaining and monitoring the incident reporting system, collecting and dissemination reports, and coordinating and conducting audits. Provides analytic support, gathering data from a variety of databases and compiling analytical reports.
Compensation: PPGNHAIK’s compensation philosophy is based on equity and transparency. Starting offers are determined by both the candidate’s directly applicable experience and internal equity within the pay grade. The pay range is $57K- $95K (annually).

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains and monitors the Incident Reporting System, disseminating reports based on the database for tracking and trending purposes.
  • Works with leaders to complete all follow-up activities on Incidents once reported.
  • Assures affiliate compliance with regulatory requirements by the collection and dissemination of adverse event reports for PPFA/ARMS reports.
  • Works collaboratively with IS to improve the database and increase the capability for monitoring, tracking, and trending based on updated project specifications.
  • Provides training and orientation on Incident Reporting and “Just Culture” to teams and new staff.
  • Conducts complex data analysis, develops tools, graphics, and presentations to disseminate data and present identified opportunities to management and various stakeholders.
  • Identifies the need for, and facilitates, Root Cause Analysis Teams and subsequent action plans
  • Responsible for the timely completion of projects, including timeline development and maintenance, and coordination of activities and data collection with requesting internal departments or external requestors.
  • Serves as a process improvement consultant as needed.
  • Monitors health center compliance with policies and procedure by performing annual health center assessments.
  • Performs or assists with performing Quality Program orientation for new managers, clinicians, and medical staff.
  • Ensures HIPAA compliance standards regarding patient privacy and confidentiality.
