Your ‘day to day’
As a Quality Projects Specialist you will provide full Quality support and expertise for planning, execution, research, development of innovation and improvement projects while applying a risk based approach. You will be responsible for product and process performances, providing technical and analytical direction to solve quality and/or operational issues while looking for productivity and standardization opportunities. You will also ensure the improvement and/or maintenance of Quality Management System (QMS) with related procedures in alignment with QMS Compliance and Central Quality functions.

More specifically, you’ll

  • Provide technical Quality support and expertise in order to improve product and process Quality performances within innovation and improvement projects during all stages of development. Provide support for review and update of the Risk Assessments, Manufacturing process characterization, Quality and In-Process Control processes and QMS documents. Support pilot factory team with inputs for Change request and Validation processes.
  • Collaborate with relevant internal and external colleagues by applying risk based approach and effective information exchange to assess the control systems, processes and product performances and ensure Compliance with PMI requirements, standardization and continuous improvement during development stage. Provide internal and external training to relevant PMI employees, as specialist in QMS, quality process and product in order to drive and share excellence within PMI. Guarantee proper handover to commercial teams prior project closure.
  • Carry out required actions as per defined project plan or support request, ensuring all assigned actions are maintained on schedule and within requirements. Provide timely updates to the project / activity to owner. Perform data analysis review in line with Company requirements. Ensure that objectives and targets related to quality are defined and followed-up by project and other teams. Present Quality related results in relevant Projects review meetings.
  • Investigate in a timely manner non-conformities and deviation related to product and process performance during tests and prototyping and other innovative or improvement projects stages. Take the decision to quarantine the non-conforming material/products and liaise with concerned parties to find out the root cause and take relevant preventives/correctives actions. Ensure a proper follow up and reporting of open actions and maintain the related database up to date. Based on recommendation from concerned teams, participate to the decision of releasing/dropping the non-conform products blocked due to quality issues and monitor the related costs
  • Support the establishment of all related documents and procedures supporting good manufacturing practices and fulfilment of technical transfer package. Provide general quality management system training and coordinate quality related training within the department. Support QMS compliance department in ensuring QMS efficacy, adherence and compliance within the Quality department.
  • Carry out all of the activities ensuring that PMI Compliance Policies, Standards, and Laws relating to these activities are fully respected, integrated and understood, and implement adequate processes to ensure confidentiality of data/information. Promote and apply all rules concerning PMI Quality, Environment, Health and Safety. Report all situations requiring actions to minimize or eliminate risks exposure to personnel, company assets and societal impacts and be in line with or ahead of any applicable Law requirements and Company standards.
  • Ensure a strong partnership internally/externally focusing on collaboration and information exchange in order to ensure excellent quality and Compliance with our requirements, standardization and continuous improvement. Who we’re looking for

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience and competencies acquired through technical training, in Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences Chemical Engineer.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the quality or equivalent.
  • Sound IT and project management skills.
  • Advanced knowledge in Quality tools, root cause analysis and statistics.
  • Sound action orientation, comfortable working with higher management, customer oriented, able and willing to learn on the fly, active listening and good organizational skills, ability to work in cross-functional environments, ability to set priorities and to solve problems, sound expertise in process management.
  • Proficient in French and English, both written and spoken.
