Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba is seeking a Quality Specialist based in Montreal, QC. This role will report directly to the Senior Quality and Service Repair Manager. The Quality Specialist is responsible for ensuring the compliance of processes according to the ISO9001-2015 standard, as well as providing support to operations for problems encountered in production or at customer sites and updating the processes in question. You will also participate in the improvement of our processes by acting as a change agent and Kaizen facilitator.
Responsibilities:
- Write and update processes according to the ISO 9001-2015 standard
- Plan and conduct internal process audits and write audit reports
- Train employees on the process approach
- Involved in preparing the management review
- Map processes to assist the company’s activities
- Support other departments in their efforts to maintain the quality processes under their responsibility
- Conduct internal audits on processes and finished and semi-finished products
- Perform risk analysis of processes
- Lead and facilitate Kaizen and other Lean events.
