BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Technician/Technologist Program or an Electronic Technician/Technologist Program
  • Should return to school after successful completion of their tenure as an intern at CoolIT Systems.
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen / Permanent Resident of Canada.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Power B.I basic knowledge.
  • Metrology training.
  • ISO 9001 knowledge would be an asset.

SKILLS:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated high level of initiative, attention to detail and accuracy and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

ROLE:

We are seeking a talented Quality System Analyst Intern to join our Quality Control team. This will be an 8-months internship program starting on April 29, 2024. We are looking for someone with strong data analysis skills and detail oriented. This role will report directly to the Quality Control Manager and is an excellent opportunity for students looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of Quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement data systems and dashboards to monitor and enhance quality performance in both Incoming and In-process checks.
  • Collaborate closely with the lab manager to execute daily activities related to quality, such as receiving and in-process control.
  • Standardize measurement inspection procedures across the organization.
  • Collaborate with the team to conduct internal failure analysis and control nonconforming materials.
  • Support the quality team in performing Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and contribute to the development of a robust system for control.
  • Conduct capability analysis on critical components and assist the quality and manufacturing teams in deploying in-process capability analysis.
  • Ensure all tasks are executed to the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
  • Report any non-conformance concerns promptly to the management.
