Quality Technician

Our client is a high-quality manufacturing company that delivers components on a global scale. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent quality technician role that is based in Northampton.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspecting a variety of components. These include gauge checks, visual inspection, verification of part marking and looking over supporting documentation.
Working with supplier quality engineers to review inspection methods.
Working with Stores / Logistics teams and using SAP to ensure all suspect stock is identified and quarantined for inspection.
Work closely with manufacturing to ensure supplier non-conformances are clearly understood.
Requirements:
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Good communication skills.
Excellent attention to details.
Ability to understand engineering drawings.
IT skills including Excel.
Experience with using measurement hand tools
