Responsibilities:
JOB ROLE
UK’s most established textiles companies, operating in home-textiles and flat-linen in retail, hospitality, healthcare and institutional sectors, are now recruiting for a Quality Technologist/Inspector.
Full-time, Part-time
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To act as our quality inspection expert across our bed & bathroom linens.
- Assessing and addressing technical concerns – and ensuring that samples, strike-offs and production stock meet specification and quality standards.
- Inspecting development, pre-production, production & stock products against specifications set up by the company.
- Upkeep and management of test reports & documentation against our ISO 9001:2015 system.
- Regular ongoing testing of products as required in or test laboratory.
- Experience using lightbox, rub-test, and tensile tester are a benefit.
- Support with customer and supplier quality assurance requirements.
- Supporting with the diagnosis and resolution of product quality issues.
- Liaising with factories on samples
