This role is based in our new Soho Place office – opened in 2023 - in the heart of Central London and home to our Research Lab.
Responsibilities:
The Post-Trade Analysis group works closely with senior stakeholders across the firm - from Research to Portfolio Management - to deliver value through the identification and analysis of performance and inefficiencies in portfolio behaviours and trading patterns.
As a Quant Analyst within the group, you will partner with our embedded engineering team to develop tooling methods that allow for more advanced analysis. You will also work closely with the engineers to productionise ad-hoc analysis and research into published reports for ongoing monitoring and dissemination across the firm.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Working with stakeholders to deliver thorough and accurate research on focus areas across all assets
- Initiating and leading rigorous analysis into portfolio behaviours and deployed research to draw statistically significant conclusions about efficiency
- Performing analysis at pace during times of crisis to help inform portfolio management decisions
- Researching and implementing new methodologies to improve the capability of the group on an ongoing basis
- Engaging in an environment of open debate to critically assess the team’s research and analysis
- Thinking commercially – little is out of scope
