Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Quantitative Investment Associate Director, you will play a crucial role in supporting the senior team across various aspects of investments. You will be responsible for undertaking both qualitative and quantitative analyses of prospective fund investments. Your responsibilities will also include preparing written and presentation materials for IC approvals and presenting these to Management and IC. You will conduct meaningful market research to identify suitable investment opportunities and strategies. Additionally, you will monitor existing investments by analysing performance, portfolio positions and risk exposures.
- Support the senior team in various aspects of investments including qualitative and quantitative analysis of prospective fund investments
- Prepare written and presentation materials for IC approvals and present to Management and IC
- Undertake quantitative analysis such as regression/factor analysis, fee structure modelling for public market investments and sensitivity analysis
- Review of investment management agreement, fund key terms, including fee structure, key-man provisions, tax structure, as well as other legal documentation
- Perform meaningful market, industry and manager or company-specific research to identify suitable investment opportunities and strategies
- Ongoing monitoring of existing investments including analysing performance, portfolio positions and risk exposures via calls and in-person meetings
- Construct the tools and techniques required to produce thorough analysis at the asset class level
- Conduct analysis and consequently make well justified recommendations for evolution
- Support the decision making process on asset class allocation

The ideal candidate for the Quantitative Investment Associate Director role will have a university degree with a focus in finance or a quantitative background. A CFA or post-graduate investment related studies will be considered favourably. You should bring at least eight years’ relevant working experience, preferably in investment related firms. Strong analytical, quantitative and critical thinking skills are essential for this role. You should also have the ability to work with a wide range of financial models, software and databases. Good supervisory skills and interpersonal skills are required, along with effective communication skills.

- At least 8 to 10 years relevant working experience, preferably in investment related firms

- Proficient in Bloomberg, Microsoft Office and programming skills in VB
